Having lived in LA for many years (and also having escaped) this ridiculous show just hit and hit and hit me. So many relatable and stupid-funny moments, gags, pop-references, asides, throwaways, smirks, interactions, slams, jabs, and mugs... and that fourth wall never stood a chance! Plus the singing! Plus the precise tech! Well done! I nearly took my top off!

Go see this!

A superb mashup of storytelling, music, and stand up. Nina is an excellent singer and performer, with a way about her that is almost magnetic. I really enjoyed Nina's perspective on the game of Hollywood, and was riveted from the moment she began. It was only after the fun of the show that I thought of the shocking final moments, and realized how smart her message is. Without giving too much away, just know this is the type of show you will be thinking about after, and you will not see the twist coming. One of the best shows I have seen at Fringe, and I may very well go again.

Absolutely delightful! She is a terrific actress and singer who "tells it like it is" in Hollywood. She learned how to play the game but clearly succeeded because of her outstanding talent. See this play!

If you have a chance to see this in Edinburgh, GO! I was able to see Nina perform her one night only show in Los Angeles, and she had the crowd doubled over in laughter for the entire hour. Her perfect mixture of comedy and music is such a rarity these days. I cannot recommend this show enough.

Loved this show. I thought Nina kept the energy up throughout. Well written, and she can really sing! I suspect we’ll see Nina in bigger and better things in future. A talent worth keeping an eye in to see what she does next.

I had the pleasure of seeing the one night only Los Angeles premiere of “Seeking Representation,” and it was a night so well spent! Nina Rose Carlin commanded the stage, and embodied her character at every moment. It’s a story with so much to say about the absurdities of fame culture and trying to claw your way up a ladder in an industry that keeps raising the bottom tier further away from attainability. My group not only laughed for a full hour, but we all left talking about how the business of entertainment has become so gatekelt, and Nina’s work brings us back to a time where sheer talent is enough to tell a story. You’ll laugh, you’ll cheer, you’ll want to sing along, and you’ll be left thinking about the lengths artists go to for their stories to be seen. I absolutely could not recommend enough!

Nina’s performance was outstanding and unlike any show I have seen before. Her delivery was unique, her narrative creative, and she kept the crowd captivated and engaged from start to finish. Definitely recommend going to see her show!

Nina blends so many of her talents and perspectives with a clever, heartfelt, and hilarious take that is ‘seeking representation’. Can not recommend enough, a must see!!!

This entertaining comedy/cabaret solo show is funny, riotous and delusional with some very good vocals to her own songs. Her character is hilariously all over the place as she embarks on a self-discovery mission to find fame. A great performance by a talented actress.
