Description

Nettles is a captivating and thought-provoking exploration of the human psyche, presented through a lens of dark comedy and existential introspection. Seeing the world from Alyona's perspective, it offers a unique and surreal depiction of one woman's struggle with existential despair, cleverly juxtaposed with mundane tasks and societal observations. The use of humour serves as both a coping mechanism and a vehicle for deeper introspection, inviting the audience to reflect on the absurdity of modern life. The show was first premiered in 2023 at The Cockpit Theatre, London.
