Description

A group meditation, an effective technique to deal with annoying people, the magic of velvet sofas all mingled with a semi-intellectual demeanor is some of what to expect from this debut hour. German-based Libyan stand-up Mustafa Algiyadi - **** (TVoice UK) - longs to be part of the European way of life but is confronted with some cultural differences that make it confusing, chaotic and sometimes highly inappropriate all on a quest to obtain a better passport. Would you help Mustafa? 'Algiyadi does it perfectly' (Mumble). 'The funniest thing in the world' (Broadway Baby).

Fantastic show that adds to the diversity of voices found at the fringe. Mustafa's act is quite polished and one can tell that he regularly performs on stage. He cleverly interacts with his audience and makes them all very much involved in the performance. We found ourselves laughing pretty much the whole time. A must watch!

The great thing about this show is that Mustafa is a very confident comedian and he can make interacting with the audience look like a piece of cake. Plus the fact he is extremely funny and his jokes will resonate with you if you have been living outside your country - Arab or not. Don’t miss it!
