Description

An evening of good old-fashioned Scottish entertainment featuring some of Edinburgh's best-known performers. Join Wendy Weatherby (cello, voice), Sandy Brechin (accordion), John Sampson (trumpet, recorders, crumhorn), Andy Cannon (storyteller), Duncan Black (accordion, keyboard) and Allan and Rosemary McMillan (guitar, voices). A cheerful, poignant and nostalgic jaunt through favourite songs, tunes and stories from Scotland's rich folk tradition and the fun of its variety theatre. Come and roam in the Gloamin', tango in Ballachulish or just sing along with our Concert Party!

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: There is a permanent ramp from the street to the door on a very easy gradient and after that everything including the disabled toilet can be accessed via level access.
  • Wheelchair access type: Permanent Ramp, Level Access

  • Stairs: 2 - 5
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
