I expected this show to be put in at a bar, but it's actually in a Unitarian Church not far from Princes Street. The benefit is that they have an excellent piano and good acoustics (although there was a little trouble with the sound system).

This is the show for die-hard Monty Python fans, with songs from the original show, their three movies, Spamalot, and various albums. The audience was a mix ranging from children to people in their 70s, many of whom knew all the words. The trope is a "professor" of Monty Python from Australia who enthusiastically plays the songs, leads the sing-along, and provides biographical information about the troupe throughout.

One note: some of the Monty Python songs were a little off color and if there are young ones in the audience the "professor" will offer to skip them. In our case, all of them were performed.

A must-visit for all Python fans, in reality, a mixture of sing a long, bit of Python history and some songs that Dr H plays rather than sing a longs to. Really good fun and a happy reminisce through the Python song catalogue.... singing really a bit optional as you can just clap, wave arms, stamp feet at the appropriate times too!
