Description

Sell-out cult shows in the North East; acclaimed short films; their own web series – now Metroland debut at the Edinburgh Fringe. The North East's answer to Monty Python, Metroland Comedy, are taking their online madness to the stage and bringing you an all-new sketch show that promises laughter, profanity and a new understanding of the term "entertainment". There will be returning characters from the web series as well as ones never seen before (or probably again). Sam Fender reckons it's 'f*cking brilliant!'

Absolutely hilarious! All these lads are brilliantly funny and I could watch them just stand on stage for an hour and it would still make me howl, it also just so happens that the sketches themselves are incredibly well written and beautifully surreal too. I haven’t seen a sketch debut this impressive in years. Get a ticket before they blow up!

I’ve seen 10 shows at the Fringe this year and this was my favourite. My cheeks hurt from laughing.

Sketch show with both sharply written and nimbly improvised parts. Reduced me to helpless tears. My hidden gem pick of the fringe.

So much fun! Great laugh throughout the whole show, proper banter and great concept. Definitely recommend it!

Best sketch show I've seen for a while. Lots of laughter and just surreal enough

These were absolutely hilarious! If you love a bit of nonsensical, dry comedy that leaves you in stitches then this is definitely the show to go and see. I've seen a few comedy shows over this year's fringe so far and this one has definitely been one of the best and is so unique it is one of those shows you have to just go and experience for yourself as it is hard to put into words just exactly what it's like!

Genuinely the funniest show I’ve seen at the fringe, can’t recommend it enough. Surreal, funny, clever and held together by an unreal chemistry. Come for the Pelvic Thrusting, stay for the Angel’s Delight.

Ridiculous and I loved it!
Go see, you won’t be disappointed.
Five blokes who do not look like typical Fringe performers, they have a real world quality about them and it just adds to the comedy even more.
