Messy friends a show full of vibrant colourful costumes and personalities.
This group of diverse artists come together in a complementary and cohesive way in such a unique and complete package.
Funny, fresh, sexy but not vulgar, raising awareness for mental health, trauma, self love, ptsd in such a beautiful and inspiring show that we have yet to see.
The video clips share a unique behind the scenes of each artist giving you a glimpse into who they are and allow you to feel connected and seen.
The choreography, storytelling, design, production and direction are so on point and deserves all the accolades coming their way!

Easily one of the best shows this year at the Fringe. Every act was full of surprises and fun. This show was a huge highlight for my Mother when she visited. Thank you! Loved this show HEAPS!!!

Some of the best fun I’ve had all Fringe. Energy is electric and it’s such a beautiful array of drag - got a ticket on the fly and I’m really glad I did!

This show somehow hit too close to home. The plot is really good, they prepped us with some context to make the dances more enjoyable and content. I was in awe seeing that some personal things could be amplified with dance. And Ginava's words left me feeling camp and vulnerable at the same time. Kudos!

One hour of entertaining drag performances, videos with interviews to get to know the artists and the vulnerable and creative backgrounds so that there was not a moment we got bored.
The great thing about THIS show is that it makes you question what drag really is or should be because you get to see five totally different styles which combined make an absolutely entertaining show.

An exciting mix of drag styles which truly show the range that drag can encompass. All the costumes were absolute standouts and the performers exceptionally dynamic. A great mixture of fun performances and tender backstories.

It’s surprising, challenging, and very often deeply, deeply funny. Unlike almost any other cabaret show at this year’s Fringe, Messy Friends may be messy at times, but so is life.
