Description

Grew up on a farm in Mid Wales not realising you were brown until embarrassingly late? Replaced as your parents’ favourite child by a Labrador? Stole a croissant from Hugh Jackman whilst looking him dead in the crotch? Just me? Cool. Dubbed 'Wales’ most exciting new act' (Clwb Comedy) with 'bags of easy charm' (Chortle.co.uk) and 'pin-sharp writing' (Rebel Comedy), Mel Owen brings her show Chunky Monkey to the Fringe. An Aberystwyth girl with stand-up wins under her belt from the highly acclaimed Comedy Virgins and Comedy Chest, Mel’s show is not to be missed.

Mel Owen is hilarious! Great comedy set about the foibles of growing up bi-racial in rural Wales, modern gender roles, and more!

Everyone I know is talking about Mel Owen! She's definitely one not to miss this year. Her super relatable show had me howling throughout. Wouldn't be surprised if she sells out so I'd get in there early.
