Medicine Woman brought childhood toys, fresh mangos and a healthy dose of pain to my Fringe midnight of the soul. Healing has never been so sexy, so fun and so Venezuelan. 'Mon the front row witches!

The thing I went to on a midnight whim, in a small cramped, cabaret-like tent was the place I kept wanting to be. I went at least two more times (three total, when this review was written, it might end up being more). Veronica's show is playful, as much as it is silly, as much as it is passionate, as much as it is joyful, as much as it is baring. You never know how the show is exactly going to go, and neither does she. She fills in the blanks with her sporadic, chaotic, compassionate humanity. It's about being a healer, it's about being healed, it's about her, and it's about you, the audience member. This is the only Venezuelan show this year, and it needs to continue and expand beyond the fringe, because this show and it's artist will continue to evolve.

This show is equal parts hysterically funny and deeply moving. Veronica holds the audience safely in the palm of her hand for the perfect late night show after a busy day.

If you see one show at the Fringe this year, make it this one.

The best evening show we've seen at the Fringe! Veronica doesn’t just make you laugh,she practically performs comedy soul surgery. Her clever improvisation will have you in stitches (the good kind). Let this hilarious shaman work her magic—you’ll leave healed and with no regrets, except maybe sore cheeks from laughing too hard! Gracias Veronica y que Viva Venezuela libre.

i’ve spent the last 10 years working within the comedy scene. this is the best show i’ve ever seen. it’s a must watch, you’re missing out on a once in a life opportunity if you don’t watch this show.

Absolutely brilliant and masterful. ‘Clown comedy’ doesn’t do it justice. It’s far more than that. Veronica is adorable and commanding with a splash of sex appeal and is hilariously funny. I only wish I’d gone twice!

I saw five shows today and laughed hardest at this one. It’s very different and I don’t normally like absurdist humor, which I think this was, but I loved this. Highly recommend this show.

Wildly entertaining, heart-stoppingly shocking at times (this Venezuelan shaman has seen some cray cray sh*t) Veronica Osorio enchants, disrupts, subverts and floors you with this Medicine Woman she has created. While being uproariously capricious and unpredictable, she somehow also manages to conjure the truth of the characters she “channels” and lands some devastating truths about what it is to be Venezuelan. The candour of her life storytelling is breathtaking, never self pitying, and packs a punch. A highlight of the festival for me - and you will never again experience such gratitude for the cutting of your etheric cords. Hug a Venezuelan today!

An unmissable experience that works perfectly at the Fringe (but deserves larger crowds). Engaging, intimate, welcoming, hilarious, entertaining from start to finish. Veronica commands the room with energetic characters while seamlessly interacting with the audience. An incredible performance. Medicine Woman was the perfect finish to a busy day at the Fringe.

Medicine Woman is a shamanic journey into absurdity. Rhythms, gyrations, a talking hymen- It’s not to be missed. This show will get you in touch with your inner dumb bitch. There’s a captivating lawyer named Roger who will charm you, as well. Pure delight.

Veronica is an incredible performer and watching a show she has poured so much of herself into is an amazing experience. It’s an extremely funny, heartfelt, devastating, back to funny, raw, sexy, and then funny again adventure. It truly is medicine. I could not recommend this show more.
