Description
Holly is desperate to save the planet, especially now that she and her girlfriend are planning to have a baby. She tried using a bamboo toothbrush, but that didn't reverse global warming. So she's taken up climate activism. If only her girlfriend would come too and help save the human race! But can people like them really make a difference? A play about love, hope and trying to do the right thing. Came to see this last night with my partner spontaneously. We really enjoyed this piece. The acting was great and the story was very thought provoking.

Really enjoyed the way this show dealt with themes of climate change and activism. It really delved into the pros and cons of activism, in a way that makes you want to make change, in your own way. Special shout out to Elizabeth Hope whose acting is simply SUBLIME!

I last minute filler when we had a 3 hour gap.
A committed female gay couple try to combine two causes - having a baby and organising an ‘extinction rebellion’ action.
Nice piece - well written and performed. ***

A hidden gem among the overwhelming number of choices at Pleasance.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing this beautifully crafted play about the complex interplay of relationships and activism in our society.
It was expertly acted and sensitively honed to convey the complexities involved in being prepared to act on your beliefs in our corrupt world.
The story line interweaved insights into both personal relationships and extinction rebellion and took me on an emotional journey with them.
I thoroughly recommend going to see it as it is a wonderful example of the power of live theatre to convey human interactions and beliefs.

Rachel has written a powerful story tackling universal themes of personhood, responsibility, selfishness, and care and placed it in the hands of one couple facing the complicated truth of their lives and love. Tediously crafted with sound, light, and movement to boost the voices of the two actors, Me for You is a compelling narrative asking us what we will do with our imperfection.
