Description
Candid and hilarious new stand-up hour, talking about who I am, in an era where people are really keen to hear about who you are, so long as who you are is something they want to hear about. Otherwise 'you deserve your stroke'. 'A torrent of formidable gags' ****½ (Chortle.co.uk). 'This most personal hour, is the best thing I’ve seen Birdman do' **** (Scotsman). Chortle Award nominee – Best club comic 2023. As seen on Rosie Jones's Disability Comedy Extravaganza and BGT.Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. One of my favourite shows of the Fringe. He flyered us while we were walking past the venue and we were very lucky to get the last two seats for the next performance. Taking on the cancel culture sounded like a brave thing to do and a recipe for an angry, confrontational show and uncomfortable watching. But he was warm and funny and self-depreciating from the start, had loads of funny stuff to say, just seemed to tie everything together effortlessly and build up such a good rapport with the audience, even making humour out of a completely unscripted moment. Like most of my other favourite shows this week, it just felt very warm and inclusive. GO SEE IT!,

Superb hour of entertainment from a very funny man. Laughed out loud several times.
Only slight gripe at the venue and their "placeholder" system. If you're going to a show, go to the bar to get a placeholder token (free) as you won't get in without it, and will be sent to the back of the queue.
