Description

After 18 years as a teacher, Mark Row has had enough of the endless carousel of uninspiring lessons, inane questions and kids with attitudes that stink worse than their PE kits. So now he's seeking a new life on stage, but will the glamorous world of stand-up comedy really prove to be much better? Mark Row returns to Edinburgh with tales from the classroom for anyone who has ever been a teacher, been to school, or who just likes laughing at children. An outstanding lesson in how entertain!

Love love this show. So funny and hugely enjoyable. Mark is witty and funny and loved the audience interaction. My wife and I both walked away from the show with big smiles on our faces and will definitely be looking out for more of Mark's work.

Mark Row's performance was brilliant. Quick witted, funny and his topic is one most of us can relate to. He constantly kept the audience entertained without any awkward pauses. He is very confident and ad libbed with interjections from the audience. Would definitely recommend seeing his show. His parents were in the audience...lovely people

Show was absolutely spot on, with some hilarious moments involving the audience. Stories from his teaching career also told in spectacular fashion. Both thoroughly enjoyed.

Move over Greg Davies! - Your successor is here!

Mr. Mark Row's show about his experiences as a drama teacher was really enjoyable, funny, and well-delivered. I loved the way he connected with audience. He had me in stitches. Highly Recommended.

We pre-booked this show and the earlier afternoon's show on the recommendation of another comedian. Both shows were hilarious and of a very high standard. Particularly funny if you work in school but most folks have been to school so easily relatable!

We went to see both of Mark's shows after he handed us leaflets in the street. We enjoyed Don't You Know Who I Am so much we went back for A* In The Making. Both shows had us doubled over with laughter and Mark even unlocked a memory Callum had repressed of becoming a tree in drama classes! Great engagement with the audience and plenty of hilarious anecdotes. Well worth going to see, five star review from us!

We went to this show on a whim. Mark was brilliant! His whole set was very well executed. As a teacher myself the whole thing was very relatable too. I’m so pleased we stumbled across this one, a real hidden gem. Thoroughly recommend!!!

If anyone is at the fringe festival going to see Mark Row is an absolute must. We met Mark handing out flyers to his show and we thought he seems like a nice guy we will go and watch. We had seen comedians most of the day but Marks show was so enjoyable. It’s down to earth, you can relate to the stories and the delivery is first class. Thank you Mark for the best show of the day. Five star performance
