Description

This is Temi’s show. It’s all about her. Not you. Her. Temi got veeeery good at being everybody’s sassy best friend. Growing up a black girl in a white world shunts you into playing a side character in your own life. But now she’s stepping into her Main Character Energy and it’s your privilege and pleasure to give her all the attention she deserves. As self-aware as it is self-indulgent, this show is a high-energy cocktail of comedy, audience interaction and cabaret. An excuse to show Edinburgh how radiant Temi is.

I had high expectations for this show and it did not disappoint. This is a beautifully balanced and hilarious piece - perfect to see after a long day of seeing shows for a pick me up!

Absolutely hilarious and meaningful. I think it is a stroke of genius that this is a hilarious show you'll love even if you understand none of the thematic content, but if you make the effort to engage with it on a deeper level, it's so powerful too. Stunning!
