Description

Who rules when there are no rules? Muchmuchmore Theatre returns to the Fringe with a gripping adaptation of this timeless story, exploring what happens when the shackles of civility are removed and primal instincts are unleashed. Immerse yourself in the sinister atmosphere of the deserted island, where the visceral descent into chaos has brutal consequences. This modern production provides a thought-provoking reflection on human nature and the power of social hierarchy. Should you be afraid of the beast prowling the woods? Or should you be more afraid of the darkness lurking within?

This is a really good adaption of the novel. The young cast are superb. I thought the young man playing Roger portrayed that menacing style well.

Only one day left! Go and see it- it's rare you see such a large cast gathered on stage, but the young performers all work together perfectly in a captivating show.

A great adaptation of the novel, and excellently condensed to time. Fantastic acting and very visceral portrayal of the themes. Highly recommend!
