Description

A brilliant wild ride of personal monologues intertwined with character sketches and audience participation by the Chicago Reader's winner of Best Comedian in 2024, Rogue Schmidt. As a former all-star athlete, Rogue uses her insider knowledge to sharply satirize the ultra competitive world of high school athletics in America and points the magnifying glass at the ethics of the unhinged coaches leading the charge. With each different coach character presented, a new sport, sketch and premise unfolds before the audience's eyes. It ran for six sold out weeks at the Annoyance Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.

I had so much fun at the locker room! Rogues energy was electric, they had me absolutely creasing! Audience participation was hilarious and I can’t wait to go back and see it again, my favourite at the fringe so far!

I Had the best time watching the locker room the other night at Edinburgh Fringe. The perfect blend of truth and comedy it had me in tears of laughter, joy, and empathy. Rogue is truly a comedic star and I would recommend this show to anyone looking for a late night laugh.

I LOVED Locker Room. Rogue Schmidt is so talented with character comedy and I loved how she made the show both funny and serious by sprinkling in real life, relatable queer experiences. Would def recommend!

An amazing, funny, and well written show that was an absolute joy to watch after a pub visit. We were laughing constantly throughout the show to the point where we could barely talk while participating in the show. Not only was there plenty of comedy, there was a lovely touch of emotional elements. I highly recommend watching the show in a group (although it would be enjoyed as a solo watcher!).

An absolutely fantastic late show!! Had me cackling throughout, it was brilliantly written and deeply personal. It struck a balance between satire and reality, making it surprisingly poignant. It was a joy to watch, especially as a group!! Take your friends, and if youre bold maybe even your family.

I was lucky enough to see The Locker Room in Chicago last year, and it remains one of the best solo shows I have seen. Rogue is an incredibly talented performer who immediately gains the trust of an audience. They waste no time getting to the comedy and only build from there. This is a great show for anyone who wants to laugh and love and learn just a little.
