Description
A brilliant wild ride of personal monologues intertwined with character sketches and audience participation by the Chicago Reader's winner of Best Comedian in 2024, Rogue Schmidt. As a former all-star athlete, Rogue uses her insider knowledge to sharply satirize the ultra competitive world of high school athletics in America and points the magnifying glass at the ethics of the unhinged coaches leading the charge. With each different coach character presented, a new sport, sketch and premise unfolds before the audience's eyes. It ran for six sold out weeks at the Annoyance Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. I was lucky enough to see The Locker Room in Chicago last year, and it remains one of the best solo shows I have seen. Rogue is an incredibly talented performer who immediately gains the trust of an audience. They waste no time getting to the comedy and only build from there. This is a great show for anyone who wants to laugh and love and learn just a little.
