Twelve years from the 2012 Fringe Street Events, GABEZ return with their international award-winning performance Live Manga! GABEZ create non-verbal performance based on mime. Their funny but simply composed physical comedy has been enjoyed by audiences of all ages, all over the world. Masa and Hitoshi play various comical characters, making audiences startle, laugh and sometimes even scream! This is a family-friendly spectacle not to be missed. As seen in the Tokyo Olympics Opening Ceremony in 2022, when their Pictogram Performance attracted the attention of the world.

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance

It's really a super fun show. The plot design is exquisite, easy to understand and interesting. The two actors will especially drive the atmosphere of the scene, and the scene is very lively. I really want to give a big compliment to both actors: you guys have amazing control over your body! I've never seen a stairs up and down performance as good as yours! This sequence of you going up and down the stairs really stunned all the audience at the scene! I hope to see more wonderful performances from you in the future! I look forward to seeing you in Edinburgh next year! I will also travel to Japan in the future, and I hope to have the opportunity to see your performances at that time!

Totally brilliant. Not only are these two actors extremely gifted physical theatre artists, but they have a fantastic gift of playing with their audience that keeps them engaged and in stitches.

Fantastic comedy duo! Comedic timing is brilliant - physicality and facial expressions is marvellous and funny. Great visual show (with no words) so deaf audience can enjoy too. Top work guys!!! All the best for the rest of the fringe. ありがとう
