Description

In 2022 a show was cancelled while it was still in rehearsal. That show, The Family Sex Show was still in rehearsal. The idea of what the show might be created a demand for it to be left unseen. A Little Inquest is a show about censorship, freedom of expression and what we're prepared to stand up for. This piece of theatre - part autobiography, part fiction, questions the limits of performance, what we make it for and what we go to it for.

The show consists of live speech by the person on stage, amplified to be clearly audible, plus recorded speech that was played much louder than the live speech. For me it was distressingly loud and I gave up after about 15 minutes.
