This was the best piece of new writing I saw at this year's EdFringe. It was brought to life very effectively on a budget, with wonderfully blocked and choreographed staging, inventive use of clothes to suggest costumes of different eras, and skilled multi-roling by the cast.

If you know the story of Lady Caroline Lamb and her relationship with Lord Byron, you know this play is an emotional rollercoaster. If you don't know the story, then trust me, you will be sucked in.

Though it's a new play making creative use of budget constraints, this is high quality enough to be onstage at any of our great national theatres.

Bravo to everyone involved.

A fascinating and original theatre piece based on the love story of Lady Caroline Lamb and Lord Byron with an interesting parallel between historical and contemporary women’s conditions. Served by a perfect combination of a brilliant writing, an impressive performance and a clever choreography, altogether delivering some intense and highly contagious emotions.
Hopefully the first piece of many more to follow from Mad Bad Production!

Saw this show last night and it was an absolute masterpiece. I was completely enthralled every second of the show. This is a must-see! All of the cast were brilliant, and I would recommend this to absolutely everyone.

We wanted to squeeze one more show in before we left for the airport....... luckily for us we managed to get to see little Beast.

A wonderful production showing the struggles women have had historically but also face even today. Life, love, loss and the impact of those around them and expectations.

Amazing acting from the all female production, some funny moments, emotional scenes along with music and choreography that works seamlessly throughout.

Just breathtaking. A fitting end to our time at the fringe.

an amazing show with incredible acting and writing. the perfect balance of comedy and sadness, and a brilliant look into the treatment of women throughout the years in a society dominated by the patriarchy.

Outstanding! A thought provoking play paralleling two ages. Eloquently written and beautifully acted. Emotional intensity is balanced with lightness. A little gem!

WATCH THIS PLAY!!! first of all great acting… second of all what a great combination of humour, character and at its heart a take on how misogyny forces women into impossible situations! overall a brilliant watch!

A genuinely innovative deconstruction of patriarchy and its adverse effects with the scenarios focused through the same lead roles, but somehow the blame is always on the female leads! The production is minimal in a way that focuses your attention on the actors and their place in the story. The costumes are well tailored but not distracting, and the script leaves you thinking. Definitely a must see for new ways of storytelling.

I saw the show on Monday and did not regret it. It counters the current trend of of the Fringe becoming a comedy instead of a theatre festival in a most impressive way. Don't let yourself be put off by expecting a somewhat dull historic play. On the contrary. The writing is spirited and innovative, covering not only the historic protagonists but contemporary counterparts on another time level. This gives the play an interesting and somewhat timeless direction. The cast does a professional job and brings the story to life in a most inspiring way. From the visual point of view the the rather plain but well chosen costumes and the postioning of the actors on the otherwise empty stage give some fine aesthetic impressions.
I probably will be watching the play again.
Sadly it's only running until the 10th.
