Description
This new play by Michael Bryceson focuses on the relationship between a dying father and his son, Charlie. When Dad gets a terminal diagnosis, it forces him to look at what is important in life. We see this played out through the lens of letters Dad writes to Charlie to guide him through life’s key moments, since he will no longer be there. Exploring love, loss, life and everything in between, we follow Dad, Charlie, Mum and Sam through the turmoil and happiness of growing up.Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. 5 ***** for this beautifully written, heart rendering play that is a celebration of love, family and what matters most in life. The 4 characters easily slipped in and out of the present and the past and took us on an emotional journey through the key moments in life when a word from your Dad is just what is needed. Don't miss this!

I could not recommend this play enough, it managed to make me both sob and giggle all in the short space of 45 minutes! A must see! The play followed a family dealing with the loss of the father, it was beautifully written and the actors performed it with the perfect level of humour and heart wrenching emotion.

Such a great show which had my dad and I both in tears by the end, but also laughing throughout. Really recommend going with family to watch these greatly talented and young actors recount the most memorable moments of life, those already lived and those yet to come.

So good that I saw it twice ! Very clever concept , a well rounded piece of theatre . And the 4 excellent actors held my attention throughout - twice ! It’s a morning wake up to Life !!
