Legally Blonde

One of the best Fringe shows I have ever seen! The whole cast gave an absolutely outstanding performance and fully encapsulated everything Legally Blonde has to offer and more!

The whole cast were entertaining and very talented, you can absolutely see the hard work they have put into this but also how much they enjoy it.

A HUGE and very much needed shout out to Paulette. She is IMMENSELY talented, from vocals, to embodying the character and making it her own to the stand out comedic timing as well. Completely made the show for me- my favourite character to date.

I also loved Vivienne and her character development through out the show. Her vocals were strong and acting was brilliant too.

The energy and enthusiasm of the cast is incredible. The skill of the dancers is brilliant. Every cast member brings their best performance all the time, there's always something to watch in the full ensemble numbers. It's a feel good, uplifting, energetic, joyous show and I challenge anyone to come out and not feel positive.

Don't attend this show expecting Broadway or West End quality. While some of the actors are excellent, others are not. The actress playing Pauleen was a standout. Unfortunately, while Elle was a great singer, her acting was rather uninspiring. The sound board operator also did a poor job. There are many moments where the singing is way to loud and others where you can't hear the lyrics.

After seeing over 45 musicals at this years fringe festival, I have to say this was my favourite, a slick production with incredible performances throughout. Getting into Edinburgh early and catching this show is a must before the end of its run.

Elle and her entourage hit every high note with pom-poms, Can-can kicks, Riverdance and Tap shuffles and backwards walkovers (in high heels!). You’ll feel whipped into shape just cheering along to this impressive display!
So don your best pink legal attire and enjoy this vibrant performance, complete with wee giggles and outrageous twerks - it’s the party you’ve always secretly wanted to join!

Superb show. Such energy and enthusiasm from a hugely talented group of young folk. If you haven’t been then go. It finishes Sunday. Such high standard performances for a Fringe show. Stunning

Amazing show!! Loved the opening of Act 2 ‘whipped into Shape’ really great performance & high energy. But a special shout-out to Vivienne and Paulette you were the highlights of the show with an unreal performance, both also nailed the costumes, perfect for the characters!!

4 Stars - I had always wanted to watch this musical and this performance was an amazing first experience! The actors embodied their characters so well and were super great at singing. It's just a really feel-good show that I would totally recommend, they did Legally Blonde justice

Seen the show yesterday and it was amazing. Very talented cast, big shoutout to Paulette who was incredible in all aspects. The comedic timing, the vocals and acting left nothing to be desired. Shoutout to the Greek chorus as well, fabulous vocals and hilarious acting. Great show!!!

Was at the show yesterday morning and all I can say is that the cast blew the couple of professional versions of it I've worked out of the water and I only found out about the show from a colleague who was off that day but I went through to support the show and the wider cast and the whole thing was flawless from the second I arrived till I left after the show so congratulations to you all

Fabulous show, filled with energy and a lot of fun!
This was the highlight of the week for our 13 year old daughter and the songs are still being sung around the house.

Toe tapping, heart warming, feel good fun. The whole cast are energetic, awesome singers and totally light up the stage. The tunes are catchy and the dance moves slick. Brilliantly cast and thoughtfully directed. Some sound issues. Backing track is too loud at times making it hard to hear the dialogue of the songs. And a few lots feedback moments from the mics. But these do not detract from the enjoyment of the show.
Special shout out to Paulette, whose humour and beautiful singing are truly fabulous. And Elle’s 3 friends the Delta Nu’s are brilliantly cast. Popping up at the right time with their lovely singing and hilarious humour.
A must see show. Don’t miss it.

Such an amazing show! The production and cast are incredible, it is very obvious that they love doing this and are enjoying performing very much! Special shout out to the ensemble, everyone is so talented and was shining so brightly! And the person who played Paulette was phenomenal! I really loved the show and will keep listening to the songs for a while! I'm glad that this year I managed to get tickets and would highly recommend!

What a fabulous show! It’s so refreshing to see energy, charisma and talent from all members of the non principal cast they made the show! Special mention to the Brooke whyndam and Paulette. How anyone can skip like that and sing as powerful as that at the same time is beyond me and the Paulette had me folded over laughing with such a phenomenal accent and voice to go with the comedy! Great show. Production team should give themselves a pat on the back

Our first show of the Fringe this year and what a great start!! Such a great show and really catchy songs and very talented cast - special mentions for the actors that played Elle, Paulette and Emmett - could watch them all again! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic show. Would definitely recommend. We are planning to come back to see it again, it was that good.The cast are energetic from start to finish.
The production team had the background music a little too loud causing the cast to have to shout over the music or parts of the show to be missed because of this. Small change that would definitely benefit other viewers in the future.
The wooden seats could do with being changed as after 2 hours your bum is numb.

This is a must-see show, whether you’re a fan of musicals or not!
It’s full of energy from the start and the cast all delivered superb performances with brilliant characterisations, pulling you fully into the story.

If you plan to take in a musical or two at Fringe24, make sure this one is on your list! Such a talented cast of young performers that give this demanding show 150% for the duration of the performance. The MT triple threat of acting, singing and dancing is alive and well on the stage, with every member of the cast putting in a performance worthy of the West End. We enjoyed it so much, we went back to see it again! Don’t miss this show, you won’t be disappointed!

My friend and I watched Legally Blonde yesterday and loved it. The cast were fantastic- so much enthusiasm and made us want to get up and sing along with them. Would highly recommend the show to others. A special mention to “Paulette” who was amazing! Portrayed the role perfectly and had us in stitches.
Well done to all involved!

Not really a fan of shows like this but as our grandson Louis was part of the cast, which might explain a little any biased comments, we were delighted to attend
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience due to the professionalism and enthusiasm of each and every cast member.
The energy levels were amazing, especially during the skipping/singing section and it was obvious that the whole cast were thoroughly enjoying every minute of it.
Congratulations to all involved including Director Zoe and the whole support team.
Only minor moan, two hours plus on the wooden seats was a bit hard on the bottom.

This is a must see show while at the fringe. The cast are extremely talented and everyone is cast to perfection. I really loved the comedy aspects of the show. Overall it was an amazing show. 10/10 would 100% see it again!

What an OUTSTANDING performance from every single cast member. The production team should be incredibly proud of the performance the cast put on today. What a joy to watch this cast have fun start to finish, they never stopped giving 100%. Well done to all!!

What a fabulous feel good upbeat performance from a very visible cast clearly having a ball giving it energy from start to finish the performers owned the stage and all gave 100%. By the way who sings and skips without missing a beat! Feel good happy visit to St Stephens. Highly recommend for everyone.
