Description

Two performers armed with a single scene – a customer orders a drink from a waiter. And then things go awry. Played again and again, the scene starts spinning out of control. Nightmarish spiral or grotesque farce? Roles flip back and forth. Who's serving and who's being served? Directed by Forced Entertainment’s artistic director Tim Etchells and created with the brilliant performance duo Bert and Nasi, L'Addition is a complex, hilarious and explosive performance. Presented as part of the Here & Now showcase which selects exceptional performance created in England ready for international distribution.

That was bad. That was bad. That was bad. That was bad.
Not funny (save one 5-seconds moment), not stimulating mentally, not impressive. Nothing.

Overall, pretty boring, but not in relaxing way.

Great performances but way too long. Jokes wear thing after about 20 mins

This is what I want at Fringe. A hilarious show with top notch delivery and a bonkers plotline. Laughed all the way through! A must see! Ordering wine will never be the same again...

I'm flabbergasted this thing is such a success. By far the worst thing I've seen out of the almost 50 shows I've seen over the last 2 1/2 weeks The joke wears off after about 15 minutes and it goes on endlessly, as a matter of fact running almost 15 minutes longer than scheduled time, which is certainly unfair to the people in the audience who have to run out during the show so they can make it to their next timed ticket, and making things difficult for the show that comes in after. It should be called No Exit, but another show already stole that title from Sartre. That's 75 minutes that I'll never get back.

Surreal. The plot(?) was perhaps reiterated a little too often, but remained entertaining.

What did I just watch? I'm not sure! Did I like it? I have no idea! Am I happy I watched it? Hell yes!

... And what is the point of this review considering the show is completely sold out? Close to none!

Congrats to the actors. I hope you manage to leave the job at the office and that your lives make more sense than this.

The Fringe is finally back on form...it's official. Bert and Nasi rock!

FIVE STARS

Superb performances and engagement by the two actors. It’s funny, farcical and can be interpreted with much deeper meaning. We loved it.

This is a masterclass of clowning, comedy, physical theatre and absurdism.
