Description

Iris and Thalia. Thalia and Iris. A flatshare. A secret. A friendship dancing on the edge of time. Everything moves different when you know it's all coming apart. From the company that brought you Bluewater ('a true original' ***** (BingeFringe.com)), this electric ode to female friendship by Danielle James confronts us with a searing question: how do you grieve something you haven't yet lost?

This was the most unique piece of theatre I’ve ever seen. Such a powerful representation of friendship and loss in a beautiful abstract yet relatable and authentic way. Made me cry and is still with me now. Please go and see this - you won’t regret it, its the type of work the fringe is all about.

A masterpiece…literally and metaphorically. This was a beautiful piece of theatre and the actors excelled in everything they did - and they did a lot!

A very honest navigation of grief and chronic illness. Multi media approach made it very fresh and engaging.

The piece is artistic and allows people to gradually understand the narrative context and enjoy it in the process of piecing together the events.
The presentation of body movements and music makes the characters' emotions more visual and enriches the level of the performance.
Wonderful show!

Great performances from all the cast, in a visually brilliant and creative production. The set is drawn and painted during the show as an integral part of the story. Dialogue, music and movement are used to convey a melange of memories from a friendship coping with a difficult situation. Highly recommended.

Form-breaking theatre about a dying friend(ship) that combines a raw, heart-breaking script with stunning movement. It will make you want to call your best friend afterwards and tell them you love them.

An interesting multimedia piece of intense emotional scenes, dance, drawing and painting. Beautiful dancing by the two main dancers, and strong emotional acting performances by the leads. If anything I wish there was more dancing and less scenes, or perhaps less transitions and more of the scenes merged with the dance. I particularly enjoyed when the four danced together and created lovely moving tableaus. If they were to rework it I would express more through the dance. Lovely stuff!
