Description

Kiran Saggu hates hard work. Battling immigrant and capitalist pressure to succeed from her Desi-British-American background, she wonders: must she get her ass up and work? Or can she be loved, adored, rich and fulfilled from the safety of a log position in her flatshare bed? This show will cover topics like: How can I live with the fact I didn't start that YouTube channel at 12 years old to make me a millionaire now? When will men I date stop telling me they want to pursue stand-up comedy? And, can I sue the Daily Mail?

This show is not only hilarious but brilliantly honest, insightful and witty! Kiran is so relatable and I can't recommend a better way to spend an hour.

An absolutely hilarious hour you won’t regret. Kiran’s debut show sums up exactly what it’s like to be a girl that just wants to be lazy, with the backdrop of hardworking immigrant parents. Witty, funny, bratty and perfect.

This show is hilariously funny. Kiran’s anecdotes of her family and one particular daily mail article allow you to laugh with her through her rise as a female comic. A seamless debut hour that demonstrated Kiran’s talent, including a glorious 360 cover at the end. Would entirely recommend.

First and foremost, it’s really, really funny. That ought to be reason enough to see it. Beyond that, the show is an inexplicable marriage of pathos and bravado; this is what happens when nuance has a brat girl summer.

Best show at the fringe. Take your friends, take your ghosts, take your slacks.

The only thing lacking with this show was a crowd to complement Koran’s top tier comedy! Would absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys seeing another comedian slay the stage as well as, of course, laughing. Go! Go NOW! Buy a ticket!!
