Description

The kids of Little Stars Youth Theatre are excited to bring you their production of Macbeth. But when an emergency broadcast announces the incoming end of the world, the young cast evacuates, leaving only their director behind. The show must go on… right? This comedic solo piece explores the paradox of live performance in a seemingly doomed world. As Jill attempts to save the show, it devolves into an anxiety spiral on death and identity, featuring an epic guitar solo and Heelys.

Unlike any show I've seen at Fringe. Hilarious and often devastating. Wonderful performance. Go in with as little information as you can, and you will be swept away. Wonderful show.

Great show that should not be missed. Unlocked theatre nerd memories I thought I'd buried.

An expertly crafted script delivered in a tour-de-force performance, DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW. It is a fringe gem, and Jill is destined for incredible things.

I've seen others describe this as phenomenal, and it truly is the best word for it. A one-woman tour de force (with props to the supporting cast), weaving improv, roleplay, crowdwork, theatrics and blending reality and fiction seamlessly, this simply must be seen, for fans of any performance art

I cannot say enough good things about this piece. A phenomenal example of taking classical text and using it to inspire something that goes way beyond the traditional conventions of theatre. This is one of the most engaging, funny, well-balanced pieces of theatre I have ever seen and I will be going back a second, maybe even third time to see it. Fantastic work from the team.

The Kids Might Die is not only hilarious in concept and execution, it is also incredibly heartfelt. These final 45 minutes on earth shared with the fantastic performer Jill has you reeling with laughter one moment, and contemplating the human condition the next. This is a wonderfully absurd and immersive show like no other. A must see!

A funny, unique show that feels like a memorial to the theatre kid inside all of us while also being completely absurd. Jill is a phenomenal performer!!
