Description

A one-man variety show / dreamscape filled with original characters, music and general absurdity written and performed by Los Angeles comedian Kenny Gray. In the show, Gray gets some shut-eye and lets the various people, places and inanimate objects of his subconscious take the stage. What follows is a cavalcade of lovable idiots, fragile male egos and one very sexual bottle of ketchup. It is a showcase of utterly stupid things, brimming with heart.

The details woven into every aspect of this show - from the well-crafted characters, to the props, to the catchy-as-hell interstitial music - is what makes it a must-watch. The highlights are the moments where Kenny lets his weird shine through and lets the audience in. So clever and fun!

I've seen a few dozen shows while up here at the Fringe, this is the funniest I've seen. Wonderfully odd and mad, highly recommend seeing it

Favourite show of the Fringe for me! Laugh out loud funny and so clever. Loved the original music, if you like Bo Burnham then this is the show for you. I’ll never look at a saxophone the same way again…

Thanks for a great show Kenny and best of luck for the future!

This show is hilarious! Ten vignettes, ten characters, hilarious use of music and costumes and makeup (you GOTTA see the makeup) make the 50 minutes fly by. I want more! And yes, Jesus WAS an influencer!

This show has some EXCELLENT comedic bits set to music! Go to see it, especially for the song “Jesus was an Influencer!” This was GENIUS! Still laughing about this show!

This had me HOWLING. This is what Fringe is about! Bonkers. Bizarre. Silly. You can tell a fair amount of graft had gone into Kenny's piece (including the well-crafted transition songs, which relate to the previous act).

Researching more, It's admirable that Kenny came over from LA to do this. He had the battle of three (tipsy) ladies in front of us, yet he won them over completely with his work.

You've made your stamp on Edinburgh Fringe - please take that with you forever! Break a leg on future performances, Kenny!

Great show. Well written characters with great premises. Loved his improv towards the end. Loved the original music. Very fun, doesn’t take itself serious, which was a breath of fresh air.

This show is absolutely hilarious! My husband nearly choked to death at one point because he was laughing so hard! It’s surreal, daft and imaginative with memorable characters like a saxophone playing exorcist, a school band conductor with a heart condition, an aging Hollywood director and a flirtatious bottle of ketchup. We absolutely loved it and were in awe of Kenny’s talent and versatility.

This show made me laugh out loud. A lot. Kenny is incredibly talented, and I was mesmerized by the way he embodies his characters. Go see it!
