Description
The audience is seated. The lighting is a gloomy, vacant grey. Two shadows loom around the space, making sure no one asks any questions. With an ambition pumped full of chemicals, a scientist unable to connect with humanity subjects her newest creation to grisly experiments that unfold in real time, leaving us no choice but to Keep Watching It.Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. A fantastic piece in our age of AI, terrifying science and placing little value on life.
Unhinged, heartbreaking, thought-provoking, and lovely acting.
Don't miss this!

Frankenstein for the era of hubristic tech maniacs and influencer narcissism, this is a terrifically intense show that is at once intimate and confrontational while letting the audience reflect on philosophical concepts of our existence and what makes humans creatures of spiritual substance versus slaves of biology. Driven by two exceptionally energetic performances: Arabella Robbins is bracing as the obnoxiously egoistic, self-justifying and cruel scientist-cum-presenter and Charlie Mitchell is mesmerising as the creation, trying to make sense of her existence with language that scatters from fractured babble to intensely articulate self-insight, spasmodically traversing physical and emotional highs and lows in a way that’s both bravura and tenderly moving.

A very interesting show about modern voyeurism and disregard for life of any kind. The acting was amazing but the pacing a bit slow and predictable- the show unfortunately lost me in the last ten minutes. I feel like it could have been shortened down significantly... Otherwise an interesting premise and, again, a very good performance
