Star of Netflix stand-up special Kavin Jay: Everybody Calm Down! makes his Fringe debut with a brand-new show about the worst part of bad news: what will your family say? Big laughs about health, wealth and misguided wisdom, with sharp and hilarious takes on what to do with unsolicited advice from well-meaning yet unqualified family and friends. 'South East Asia's sharpest and funniest voice' (Comedy Masala).

Having seen Kavin in the 5 Headliners show yesterday and laughed throughout, I booked today to see his solo show 'Unsolicited Advice'. The show did not disappoint. Kavin is a skillfull and brilliant comedian leading us along many trails of events in his life which had us laughing uproariously. I can thoroughly recommend this show if you are wanting a really good laugh!!

We saw Kavin in a lunchtime compilation show and then the following day for his full show. This guy is such a funny man, you should all go and see him. He is on our must-see list for next year. Great show Kavin

Watched Kavin Jay in both the Asian showcase and his solo show and I can say that this guy is a great comedian. Made me laugh and was relatable and clever. Also seems like an outstanding human being! Keep it up Kavin:)

We caught two of his shows on the same day and he barely repeated any material. His timing has clearly been perfected and the material is relatable, warm, and hilarious. We had such a great time at both shows and will definitely be checking out his Netflix special!

I loved this show, there was a really diverse crowd and some intelligent jokes. His warm energy made a one man show very engaging.

The venue is very much a non-spontaneous place so I’d recommend buying tickets ahead

Kavin shows his years of experience as a comedian as he puts together a hilarious story about family, marriage, Malaysia and the common experience to everyone - aging. His warm demeanour and sense of disbelief at how messed up relatives pulls you in. Go see him
