Description

The reigning Funny Women Award winner and Chortle Best Newcomer nominee brings you her debut hour where she tries to save the world. Where does this messiah complex come from? Is it the second coming or has she just inherited her mother's psychological disorder? If you're anxious about the state of the world (or just your own mental state), join this 'impressive, frank and relatable' (Chortle.co.uk) BBC New Comedy Awards semi-finalist as she becomes the first woman to wonder what many men have wondered before her: am I actually God?

A powerful debut run at the festival from last year's Funny Women Stage Award winner. Kate mixes her messages with mirth covering everything from how her brave single mother inspired her and instilled a self belief system that brings out the Messiah in her! Loved the show, the yurt and how Kate makes the space her own. Warm and welcoming this is everything I had expected from an amazing new talent. Go see!

If there is one question circulating the Fringe this first week it’s: Is Kate Cheka the Messiah? Or at least that’s the message we should be spreading.
