Description
In her debut stand-up hour actor, writer and comedian Juliet Cowan delivers a hilarious gut punch which is part teenage confessional, part middle-aged rallying cry. She has unfinished business after beating Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard and Andy Zaltzman 25 years ago in the '99 final of So You Think You're Funny? As seen in Back to Black, BBC's Everything I Know About Love, Am I Being Unreasonable?, The Power, Culprits and Sky's Brassic. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Saw this and loved it. Juliet you are doing an amazing thing, giving voice to experience and putting on stage. I liked the individualistic shape and form of it. I work supporting women around menstrual cycle and menopause - you nailed it ! That transitional and rite of passage time. Wonderful to see it performed with style, and funny too ! A great show for all to see.

This show fell well below our expectations. Although the suitability guideline is set at 14+, the show is filled with far-fetched and repetitive sexual language. The plot is uninspired and lacks novelty.
First and foremost, the suitability guideline should be changed to 18+, as the content is highly inappropriate for teenagers.
Second, the plot and content of the show need revision. Compared to other comedies, this one is dull.
Lastly and most importantly, the performer, Juliet Cowan, should be honest when introducing the show and should not lie to potential audience members about the show's content/performer.
