Description

Former journalist and professional Parisian Julie Kennedy finally understands why she can’t orgasm. Her partners didn't understand: Cease Fire. She returns to Edinburgh after ten years with a hilarious show about climate change, geopolitics and being fired from Westminster. 'She kept pitching about the climate so I fired her' **** (former editor). 'Die with laughter before the climate kills you' **** (green activist). 'Refined on the outside, crude on the inside' **** (her ex). 'I wanted to save the planet, she wanted a child' **** (her ex, a Gazprom employee).

A hilarious and personal, even educational look at the connections between the current state of media, the climate crisis and politics through the lens of a journalist-turned-comedian. Full of surprises (no spoilers) and moments that will make you laugh when you think you maybe shouldn't. Kennedy is a new talent with a fresh outlook and a very unique background developing her craft and deserving of a much larger audience. Highly recommended!
