Description

I recently had a near-death experience. I was on stage at a mental health charity fundraiser and thought the black walls were made of soft material. I turned to the audience, cheerfully asked 'may I?' and head-butted it. Turns out, it was solid concrete. The noise my skull made echoed around the room. I spent the next few days waiting to die. This show is loosely inspired by that. 'Majestic and challenging' ***** (List). 'Profound and disgusting' **** (Skinny). 'Demolishes the conventions of comedy' **** (Guardian). 'One-of-a-kind comic mind' **** (Times).

Jordan was laugh out loud funny when he stuck to expertly delivering the well written script and even funnier when he wandered off it to enage with the audience. If you can get a ticket then this is a show not to miss.

This is the best show I have seen at the Fringe this year. Completely bonkers, occasionally edgy and ralways riotous performance that had me in stitches.

The only show I would pay to watch twice.

Good God. Had me out of breath from the endless laughs and gasps of amazement/bemusement/realization/inspiration. So stupid yet so smart, Jordan et al. will be tip-toeing barefoot through my mind for the rest of my life.

Incredible. Spends the whole show telling you he's come to terms with not being a once in a lifetime talent while simultaneuously proving he's a once in a lifetime talent. A perfect show.

My first time seeing one of Jordan Brooke’s shows. Thought he was incredibly funny, loved the concept and delivery. Would highly recommend seeing this

My only disappointment is that he doesn't have a new show every month. He never fails to utterly disarm me and have me laughing uncontrollably, whilst unpicking and exploring an unpredictable array of human truths, in unpredictable ways. He's 38 now and has only just discovered the ecstasy of something deep inside himself. This show reached deep inside me, and gave me ecstasy of Titanic proportions. If you want to feel this too, you know what to do, or at least you will know after you've seen it.

If you want to see a performer at the top of his game, in complete control of his material and audience, showing flights of fancy few artists can supply, rush to Pleasance Queen Dome.
