What actually matters in life? What should we really care about? And what do these questions have to do with a breakfast chocolate rice pudding? New Zealand-Filipino comedy veteran James Roque serves up an hour of his trademark sweet-and-salty comedy. 'The epitome of slick… a comic at ease onstage' ****(Chortle.co.uk).   • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance

I didn't know what to expect as this was the first time I had come across James, but I'm so glad to have seen him at the Fringe. James is authentic, funny and a fantastic storyteller- so much so, I flitted on the boundary of joyful and sad tears. Go and enjoy the show!

I loved this show - it made me tear up with laughter! I went in with a friend who's seen James before and I now know why she wanted to see him again. I hope he comes back to Edinburgh!

James, every new show is somehow better than the last. You’re so talented, hilarious, and always seem to teach me history & also pull on my heart with every show. Would recommend everyone see this brilliant talent!

Highly recommended! Bring your family and friends. Filipinos are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. The show made me laugh and teary-eyed on the last part. Well done, James!
