This is a beautiful poignant, humorous and perceptive show. Amazing how a fully realised narrative, evocative atmosphere and rounded characters ( with back stories too) can all be achieved in an hour. Brilliant!

Wow, I really lucked-out this year. We had a big gap between shows and picked this one up as something to fill that gap. This play far exceeded expectations. This performance is both hilarious & poignant, and something I suspect I'll be thinking about for a while. Just go see it.

This was really special and probably my favourite fringe show of 2024-this is saying something as I live in Edinburgh so have seen quite a lot of shows. There is a lot of comedy here but also emotion and a really important message about vulnerability. Zac is trying to put love out there and he deserves it back so please go and see this show ! I promise you won't be disappointed. I hope to see you again at the Fringe Zac.

I'd seen 'An Evening with Mere Mortals' at this venue the previous day and was flyered for this show as I was leaving. Decided to go on whim and with a total audience of just six (including two latecomers) I initially wondered if I'd made a big mistake.

The opening scene - a guy at an STI clinic - seemed like it wasn't going to promise much but as soon as Zac started flitting between the roles of various characters (which was done effortlessly) and the storyline developed, I got drawn in and soon was completely absorbed in the show. There's a good balance between humour, life lessons and lots of relatable situations. Recommended, and here's hoping for fuller houses for the rest of the run!

Loved this show!! I laughed out loud, cried out loud and laughed mid tears. Would highly recommend! Zac kept the pace of the show moving. His comedic timing was perfect and his show was so relatable. Best show I saw in Edinburgh this summer

I loved this show - it was funny but so emotional and thought provoking.

We live through all of Jacks emotions from a 3some, through health checks, a straight (or not) roomshare, through the eyes of his mum, best friends, work colleagues and some fabulous 5 year olds. I was laughing crying and reminiscing all the way through the show.

We all have a gay friend like Jack - which makes it oh so believable

Thank you so much

I spent 2 days at Edinburgh Fringe, saw 5 excellent shows and Jack Goes to Therapy was by far my favourite. Zac is a gifted storyteller, keeping you glued in, hungry for more. He has excellent pacing, cadence and dynamics to his voice. The show has the perfect balance of comedy and heart. It’s a great play about queer love, but one that anyone who has felt love and heartbreak can relate to and appreciate. Bring your friends, bring your family members. This one is not to be missed. 5 stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
