Great ensemble show. Anna Vanosi has such stage presence - self possessed and self assured relaxed and funny - and a superb smoky voice. The song selection and background info really added to the experience. As a trio the group worked well with accomplished musicians on piano and double bass.

I’ve been living in Edinburgh for a long time and the jazz bar is my favourite place for live music. I’ve heard about Anna a while ago but never had the chance to see her performing and couldn’t miss the chance to see her this Fringe. Absolutely stunning voice! This bravissima soprano sang such a beautiful selection of Italian songs including 2 very famous ones from Mina, my favourite Italian singer. Looking forward to seeing you and your impeccable band again

What an amazing show from start to finish! Anna's performance was mesmerizing, and her music, along with the talented musicians on double bass and piano, created a fantastic atmosphere.
You can really feel her passion for music and performing in every note she sings. She does a fantastic job of sharing the stories behind each song, adding a touch of light humor that makes everything feel fun and quirky. It really helps you appreciate the beautiful Italian jazz music even more!
The musicians are incredible on their own, but Anna's voice truly steals the spotlight!
I highly recommend catching this show—it's definitely something you don’t want to miss!

A singer with a remarkable voice rendering a lovely selection of mostly Italian jazz. Anna was accompanied by a piano and a bass, both very good. All in all well worth an hour of anyone's time. Throughly recommended.

What a performance! Anna Vanosi and the musicians delivered the perfect classy jazzy set in a legendary Edinburgh venue. Her powerful but also tender vocals, and soulful interpretations made us forget the chaotic festival world outside and transported us to a different era. There was always a touch of humour and lightness to complement the more dramatic performances, while she skillfully guided us through the stories in the Italian lyrics, ensuring we were fully immersed in the experience. *****

This was a real treat. The trio of singer, pianist and double bass was perfect for this collection of Italian/American classic.
Anna Vanosi has an amazing voice and a real enthusiasm for each song, which was the audience loved.
The pianist was a virtuoso...to me anyway.
The combination should not be missed.
Hope they come back next year!
