Description

Tim Benzie, the acclaimed creator and host of Solve Along A Murder She Wrote presents a new one-man show: a hilarious and moving exploration of the enduring appeal of murder mysteries, from Poirot to Fletcher and beyond. The audience are summoned to the drawing room as Detective Tim examines the clues that first drew him to the genre, a journey from the Famous Five to Agatha Christie, to solve the mystery of why everyone is a little bit Columbo (or should be).

I have to admit — I am already a big fan of murder mysteries, whodunnits, red herrings etc. Tim Benzie talks about all of those in the best and most entertaining way, I can imagine. Could listen to him for hours & hours. I laughed, I cried, not a clue, why I haven‘t seen this earlier.

Immediately booked this after “solve along a murder she wrote” and we were yet again enchanted! He has so much knowledge and manages to weave it into a well constructed set which is charming, funny and deeply moving.
Also Tim, if you’re reading this: Please google Tom Turbo. Trust me. ❤️

Funny, well written and at times poignant show that examines our love of the murder mystery genre. Marvellously performed by Tim Benzie (Solve a long Murder, she Wrote)

A must see for any murder mystery fans!

This is a great insight, lots of fun and a joyful production at this year’s Fringe. Catch it while you can though, it only has a limited run...for now! A killer of a show!
