Description

Annaliesa Rose brings together her passion for music and her years of experience as a singer, musician and composer in this new show. Her vibrant blend of jazz styles mixes classic tunes, bluesy numbers and modern jazzified songs with new writing.

Annaliesa’s voice fills The Speakeasy like a true Lady of Jazz, creating deep longing for the tunes that inhabit us and that she thunders out with agency, sometimes smooth as a kitten, others luminous with joy. The modulations come all at the right moments and her interpretations are both intelligent, pertinent and admirable. Keep on singing, Woman! You know what’ya doin’!

Is That Jazz is a great collection of jazz and blues infused sound and Annaliesa's voice fills the room wonderfully. We had a great time as part of a small audience that left us tapping our feet, swaying in our seats and engrossed in the smooth tones.
