Description

One man. Eight ironing boards. One epic soundtrack. Watch in awe as Jody Kamali cleverly transforms these everyday household items into the tools of an epic, action-packed Hollywood romance. An inventive physical comedy show that 'demands applause' (Scotsman). Ironing Board Man is a one-of-a-kind, original show. 'A triumph... an elaborate mime worthy of Tape Face' (Chortle.co.uk). 'There's no denying that Kamali's strengths as a clown and physical comedian make every individual moment entertaining' (Stage). 'Demands applause' (Scotsman).

Jody's Best Show Yet! 5 STARS!

I have been following Jody Kamali's career for the past 20 years and I'm surprised he's not world famous by now!
He has a unique performance style and is always so incredibly watchable.
This year's production of IRONING BOARD MAN was so cleverly put together and executed and I didn't stop laughing from start to finish.
It was exceptionally zany and worked so well. The audience clearly loved it!
I can't wait to see what Jody brings to Edinburgh next year!

It was mayhem! Funny, fast, ridiculous and engaging but probably needed a bit more polish (and spatial awareness).

Bonkers but brilliant! Who knew you could make ironing boards into dramatic characters?? Go see this and then try to describe it to your friends. A feel-good show!
