An exceptional, hilarious and moving performance. Rhona had us gripped with her wit and humour which led to lots of laughter, tears and more laughter. Her outstanding performance made the theme so relatable, and thought provoking. Genuinely did not want the performance to end.

Hilarious but also deeply thought provoking not only for those of in the public eye but for us all who have very little chance of changing our reputation. Well done Rhona really enjoyed it.

Really laugh out loud funny, witty, imaginative, well written, and brilliantly performed solo show which will resonate with anyone dealing with members of the public in a service capacity. Rhona Ashwood is superb as a theatre usher harassed by the public and her boss. Seen many shows at the Fringe. This is one of the very best. I really hope it goes on tour. It just has to be seen again!

Hilarious and insightful. An emotional roller coaster that will resonate with anyone who has ever worked in a customer facing role. Rhona exposes the darker side of customer service with wit and wisdom. This is truly a timeless piece. I cannot praise this enough

Speaking the mind of every customer service worker who's ever had to deal with the general public, Rhona is a brilliant performer, not afraid to call out the modern customer service industry for it's own ridiculous sham whilst keeping the audience laughing pretty much non-stop throughout the whole thing. I loved the games that Rhona played to keep herself sane in the role, but I also think the message and the questions being asked are very important. A great balance of fun and thought.

A very entertaining show, covering both funny and sensitive topics that had you hooked from start to finish! The character is very relatable for anyone who has worked in customer services and has been pushed to their limit, while trying to uphold reputation. Rhona had the audience in the palm of her hand and had us both laughing and crying. A very clever and emotive show - would recommend anyone to go see The Interval - 5 STARS!

P.S. Also liked getting the free ice lolly for the show - Its an interval after all

From the moment Rhona walked on stage, you were enthralled, desperate to know what was happening next. Having worked with the public in different roles, the show was so relatable! An emotional rollercoaster, there were so many laughs, and the odd tear too.
Rhona's performance came from the heart, she was sublime. A 5 star review, I would highly recommend getting down to watch it. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable 50 mins
If you've not I'm sure you'll still find it entertaining

A well performed piece of bittersweet drama.Rhona Ashwood has created a memorable character that remains in the mind long after the rhetorical curtain comes down!Long may she sell her ice creams and a follow up surely must beckon.Highly recommended.

If you've ever worked any customer facing, front line, or especially front of house role, you will feel seen!! Fabulous performance. Feels like you're venting with a friend. Highly recommend!

A superb, comedic, and poignant piece of realistic storytelling. Rhona Ashwood gives a lively and emotive performance as a charming and deeply relatable usher, and the writing is top quality to jump between the mundane monotony of customer service life and the introspective moments in between where the soul-crushing reality of holding yourself back sets in. I enjoyed every moment of it, easily the best solo theatre piece I've seen this year.
