Description

With seven nominations and two wins at the Durham Drama Festival 2024 (including Best Actor), Influenced is a cautionary tale of online influencers and their world of unchecked power. This 'triumph of a one man show' (DurhamStudentTheatre.org) tells the story of an insecure young man twisted into a social media influencer, spreading lies he doesn't believe. In his struggle with truth, trust and toxic masculinity, what will he do with his new empire? He influences millions, what influences him? 'Impressive all-round Marc Twinn’s Influenced is a gripping watch' ***** (Palatinate).
