Description

In a world where movie plots are getting too predictable, one award-winning improv show dares to break the mould. You choose the genre, the subgenre, the setting and the title and they will do the rest, creating a totally improvised show brimming with all your favourite movie tropes. This 'understandable Fringe favourite' (FringeReview.co.uk) features live musical accompaniment, with songs and soundtrack all made up on the spot. Will you be lucky enough to grab one of the four famous Improvabuzzers, allowing you to direct the action as it happens? **** (Voice Magazine). **** (Clownster.wordpress.com). **** (EdFringeReview.co.uk).

IMPROVABUNGA!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was looking for something light hearted & fun to fill a gap in my day and I stumbled across this show! @watchthisimprov are such a talented bunch & it was clear to see they were having just as much fun as the audience!

One of the best improv shows I've seen in Edinburgh! They create a story with all the energy and emotion of a real show ( but much much sillier!) on the spot! Amazing!

Great family fun, enjoyed the 50 mins of audience driven content ! Very engaging acting. The buzzers for the audience to impact and change the direction and style are a great idea. Probably need to be louder as wasn’t sure if the cast always heard them if the buzzer was at the back. But the whole show was original, great piano accompaniment which underscored the genre of the movie and it was fun to see how the whole story developed ad lib and stayed on track for the 50 minutes - really worth following their development! Thank you ❤️

Wonderfully daft and incredibly witty! This eclectic group of actors, lighting designers, keyboardists and, by the end, songwriters create a nuanced improvised play with prompts from the audience that’ll have you in stitches. Last nights ‘Pride and Pet Judas’ sure put in interesting spin on period dramas!
