Description

Illuminated Lies is a collaborative project presenting a collection of true stories, anecdotes, memories and musings on the subject of disinformation, fake news or misinformed beliefs. It takes the form of a classic black taxi turned into a public audiovisual art installation. Turn up anytime and listen or book a ride to become illuminated. This public installation is free and open from 5pm - midnight. Book a slot for up to 5 people for an intimate and engaging exchange with our taxi driver. Performances are free and last up to 20 mins.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
