So pleased we booked this as it was sold out both nights we were there. Ifrah is of those enviable naturally witty people who tells stories with warmth and openness. Very funny and insightful for us non-browns. Hope she returns next year xx

Ifrah Qureshi's "Inside and Prejudice" is a refreshing and insightful comedic journey that deftly blends storytelling with sharp social commentary. Ifrah uses her platform to explore themes of identity, race, and the subtle (and not-so-subtle) biases that shape our perceptions.

Her performance is both engaging and thought-provoking, with a balance of humor and poignancy that keeps the audience invested from start to finish. Through her clever use of narrative and personal anecdotes, Ifrah invites the audience to not only laugh but also reflect on their own preconceptions.

What stands out most is Qureshi’s ability to make such complex topics accessible and relatable, all while maintaining a lighthearted atmosphere. She seamlessly transitions from moments of laugh-out-loud humor to those that encourage deeper introspection, making her show a must-see at this year's Fringe.

For those interested in comedy that not only entertains but also educates and challenges, "Inside and Prejudice" is a standout performance that should not be missed. Ifrah Qureshi is a rising talent with a voice that is both relevant and necessary in today’s cultural landscape.

Absolutely fantastic. Witty and relatable. Down to earth and humble. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for Ifrah!

I'm happy I had the chance to catch this show during its Fringe run! It's funny, witty, and refreshingly authentic. Ifrah can make predominantly white audiences laugh about the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, and she masterfully engages the audience without making anyone feel like they are being put on the spot. Considering her stage presence, 'Inside and Prejudice' feels more like the stand-up of a seasoned comedian than a debut. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'm already looking forward to Ifrah Qureshi's next show.

Inside and Prejudice was hilarious, thought-provoking, witty, and fun. I could listen to Ifrah talk all day if I’m honest. This comic has a sharp sense of humour and a sparkling sensibility (yes I’m nodding Jane Austen’s little known novel sense and sensibility).
This show appeals to all audiences but especially that of the middle child- she really makes you feel seen and heard finally. My bad jokes aside, Ifrah provides a great show that is bubbly, funny but also addresses & intertwines complex and serious subjects amongst the humour. 10/10 show, would recommend to anyone who’s cool and smart and especially middle children.

Ifrah Qureshi's Inside and Prejudicel is hugely funny show that is slightly raw in parts but undoubtedly a hidden gem. Her clever play on words in the title hints at an insightful exploration of cultural clashes, religion, and race. She delivers on this promise with a show that is both thought-provoking and entertaining.

Qureshi's engaging storytelling is both poignant and engrossing, capturing the audience's attention from start to finish. She masterfully navigates complex and sometimes uncomfortable topics, making them accessible through her unique comedic lens. Her humour is both abundant and unpredictable, with jokes that resonate differently with each audience member, ensuring that everyone has something to laugh about.

The strength of Qureshi's performance lies in her ability to balance serious societal issues with light-hearted humour. Her comedic range is impressive, seamlessly integrating fun, light-hearted jokes that bring levity to more serious topics. I believe she has a firm contender for one of the funniest jokes of the fringe, or the funniest of the shows I’ve seen. The standout line for me being a joke about stereotypes and her menacing ill-intentions involving an airplane for those who might dare to disagree with her.

Her unique comedic voice offers a genuinely funny and warm individualism that sets her apart from typical comics your likely to come across. An ability to portray different characters, deliver accents, and poke fun at serious issues, not only provokes thought but also elicits laughter in equal measure. Her performance is a testament to her skill as a comedian and storyteller, making Inside and Prejudice a refreshing highlight of the Fringe.

PS: It's probably not your cup of tea if you fall in to the “thin-skinned-emotionally-crippled, white middle class British male” category but give her a chance, you’ll be glad you did.

Want to understand the internalized Islamaphobia inherent to the young millennial South Asian dating scene? Brown and Prejudice is for you.

Witnessing a young female Muslim comedian reenact the meeting they had with their long lost father is not so much a spoiler to a great show, it's an incentive.

Ifrah has that unique capability to engage on topics of the moment whilst making awkward confessionals funny and uplifting.

May Ifrah find her Mr Darcy...without losing her mind in the process.
A must see, especially if the EdFringe is just a tad too white this year.

Ifrah’s show is simply amazing! The show is hilarious and thought provoking and it made me question my own biases as a POC. Would highly recommend!

Excellent show. Simple performance but very intriguing. As an Asian, I feel touched many times during the show. It’s usually difficult to get people attention all the time in a solo show, but Ifrah did an exceptionally great job.

Qureshi’s storytelling is like a rollercoaster in a funhouse: twists, turns, and some unexpectedly profound moments. One minute you're laughing at her zany character impressions, thinking to yourself - am i aloud to laugh at this? The next you’re wiping away a surprise tear as she slips in something randomly profound.

Ifrah is a gem, blending serious topics with a light-hearted delivery that keeps you engaged and entertained. Do yourself a favor and catch "Inside and Prejudice." It’s like therapy, but way more fun and infinitely cheaper.

Ifrah is a delight. Her show - centred around her life as a woman of colour and the familial relationships that have shaped her - had me in stitches from start to finish. She draws insightful parallels between the life of a famous character from classic literature and her own in the present day, all along the way sharing hilarious stories and observations that inevitably result from the familiar follies and foibles of dating in the modern age. If everyone who sees her show does not end the evening in love with her, then I am no judge of beauty - or comedy.

I attended the opening night and it was a roller coaster of laughs, awkward confessions, and sharp cultural observations. Ifrah's warmth and authenticity created an inclusive environment where she was able to turn challenging topics like navigating traditions, family/society expectations and prejudices into relatable and funny moments. Whether you’re there for the dating advice, the cultural insights, or just a good laugh, this show delivers on all fronts.

Unbelievably funny, whole crowd was creasing.
Unique takes on race relations that were absolutely hilarious.
Witty and amazing timing. I think she'll go far

I was hoping this show would be preachy and make me feel guilty. But it wasn’t and it didn’t - it was just fucking hilarious.

Brilliant on many levels. This show puts Qureshi on the map and a name to watch.

Fantastic show! Ifrah was very clever in the way she tackles prejudice, including her own. It was insightful, witty and cheeky. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Brilliant. As a Glaswegian-Pakistani comedian, Qureshi lampoons both cultures with wit, warmth and self-awareness. Hats (and hairbands) off for getting a majority-white liberal audience laughing along to material about the Taliban!
