Description

When sisters Mhairi and Caoimhe run away from home, Mhairi is determined to stay isolated from the world. It’s safer for her that way, and if it’s safer for her then it’s safer for them both. But in her struggle to keep her sister close, and other people out, Mhairi makes a deadly choice and risks losing Caoimhe forever. As the sisters become more entangled with the wild Scottish landscape, Mhairi’s secrets are revealed and her grasp on her sister – and reality – begins to slip. I See My Sister explores folklore, trauma and sisterhood.

Good acting and powerful story.

This show was very Scotland and very well acted and costumed! I felt like at times it fell a little flat and was a little predictable but it was certainly an enjoyable watch!

Lovely show! Heartfelt, great acting, and well worth a watch. Blood bag work could be better and the script was sometimes predictable but overall very good.

Woah, woah, woah. A must see, went to see the show on opening and it was without flaw. Talented acting, considerate and well researched writing, and deliberate direction created a remarkable on stage chemistry between sisters with a sibling tension masking the real threats and dangers. What a way to start your day at the fringe this year.

A powerful and moving piece of new theatre which beautifully ties together the supernatural and the real to create a show that captures its audience. Delving into the relationship between two sisters in a dark and twisting tale, I See My Sister by Eve Miller leaves no room for disappointment and is a must-see this fringe.

Darkly beautiful Scottish theatre piece about the complexities of the relationship between two sisters escaping - and rebuilding - ‘home’. The writing and direction is thoughtful and moving and the performances by Laura Milton and Emma Gribbon intense, poignant and powerful. A company debut not to be missed at fringe this year.

After a bit of a slow start this develops into a powerful two hander that exploits a set of myths. Congratulations to the team that put this together, a nice piece of theatre

I See My Sister, is a stunning story of sisterhood which surprises and delights as the production is largely well crafted as a whole.
