There are so many shows to see at The Fringe but this by far has to be one of my favourites and if you can only fit a couple more in then this is one I would head to. It will make you laugh and maybe make you cry as it follows life of dating and love from that first date to being together for years with some amazing songs and funny sketches. The show is fantastic with stunning vocals from the four cast members, beautifully accompanied by the keyboard and the tech is excellent that you could hear every word with some fantastic lighting too. Congratulations to you all, a huge team effort and this has really paid off with your fantastic reviews and I hope your last few shows go well for you.

I've just seen the enormous amount of audience reviews and wondered whether they need another one. Oh why not.

The 4 performers are excellent. One of them in particular just had me in stitches with reactionary facial expressions even when the others were talking.

The chap who plays a prisoner in one sketch is so convincing that you question how it's the same person with a friendly demeanour in other sketches.

I don't believe I've ever seen a musical that made me laugh so much.

I wasn't aware until the audience reviews that this has been around for years and translated to many different languages. I can see why, but also I guess it has been refined and improved over those years. It certainly feels that way.

Very highly recommended. I want to see again before I leave. I'm working on one to bring to the Fringe next year and this show is truly inspiring.

Ali Krasner 92 days ago

Flawless singing and masterful portrayal of a wide range of characters. Well thought-out staging for a thrust stage. (I was sitting on the side and I often saw the actors perfectly framed by one of the four doors.) The show itself is almost 30 years old (hard to believe!), and certain references have been updated for a 2024 audience. If you’re a fan of musicals, don’t miss this production.

Electric! Outstanding performance, so good, we have decided we have to go again at the Fringe and are hoping it goes to London or to comes to a theatre near us! So many friends we would like to
treat. Brilliant score, choreography and casting. Fabulous pianist. Grab a seat if you can get in! 10 stars!!!

If you're looking for a fun musical brilliantly performed to watch in the last week of the Fringe you really can't go wrong with this one.

As well as the four amazing performers, the musical direction and accompaniment from the keys is terrfiic, so in tune with and responsive to what is happening on stage. The direction of the show is great, really making the most of the space, and a special word for the tech, how they get everything set up and working so well in the time available is incredible.

Massive congratulations to all involved.

“I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”
This much produced musical , a favorite worldwide (2nd longest off-Broadway run ever, translated into 17 languages), receives some 21st-century updates to its 1996 beginnings (some same-sex couplings mixed in with the original hetero ones, dating via Tinder, a Trump joke, etc.), but the hilarity and ‘truths’ about the lifeline of coupled relationships still reigns forth. Wolverhampton Grand Theatre’s production features four astounding singers/actors whose every number received mighty, heartfelt, and well-deserved applause from the sold-out audience. An afternoon delight!!

A stunning set of songs performed with infectious energy. For the most part it's hilarious and relatable, then suddenly becomes extremely moving towards the end; just one note gave my the strongest goosebumps music's ever given me. The audience interaction was quite fun too ;)
Would recommend to anyone *****

Absolutely amazing show! Incredibly talented cast, I had no idea which of their accents were their real ones. Fantastic singing voices, beautiful harmonies. Really cleverly staged and hilarious throughout! We had a great time, definitely recommend seeing this show.

Flawless, amazing… the list could go on.

I’ve never left a review for a show before - but for this I absolutely had to. This is one of the most talented group of performers I’ve seen at the Fringe (ever!) and such a great show. It was uplifting, hilarious, and all around fantastic. My favourite show I’ve seen so far this year - definitely a must see!

A fantastic musical with gorgeous performances from four incredibly talented actors and singers. I felt the sketch style kept the show moving and feeling fresh, and I enjoyed the way it followed the life cycle of a relationship without being tied down to any overarching characters (although some felt a little archetypal at times because of this). My only real qualm would be that the inclusion of queer representation felt like a bit of an afterthought, but it was still sweet! With high energy, heartfelt moments, and hilarity throughout, I had a fabulous time watching this show and would recommend!

I really enjoyed this. A strong cast of 4, each playing a range of characters in skits about relationships. It's funny and touching. I think it's important to note this is not a new piece and hasn't been written by the people staging this production; it ran off-Broadway for years, but it's rarely staged in the UK.

Perfect Edinburgh festival show! An interesting musical consisting of several small scenes perfectly played out by the talented cast. Four performers who play about fifteen characters each is a tough challenge but they rise to the challenge with ease. They all act and sing with aplomb. Clever setting, wonderful direction and musical direction provides a highly entertaining and engaging show! Well worth the money, grab a ticket!!

A fantastic show, moving, funny and very well performed.

4.5 Stars - One of the best shows I have seen this year, this musical is a supremely clever display of modern dating with both happy and sad songs, all with great writing and witty humour to go along with the excellent melodies. The performers are SO talented, hearing them sing was such a treat and the choreo for each song fit it so well. My only criticism would be that I enjoyed the down-tempo songs significantly less than the up-tempo ones.

Deborah J 102 days ago

Wow - such a talented cast! From the onset and right the way through I was riveted. Great songs full on engagement, variety of short sketches. The time just flew by! One of the best shows I’ve seen. Audience loved it! Thank you for such great entertainment!

This show was incredible - it's the best performance we have seen this year. Each singer has an amazing voice and they take you on a journey of laughter and tears throughout the show. It's an absolute 'must see'.

I'll be honest, I wasn't planning on seeing this show but plans change - and thank God for that! This show is absolutely brilliant, I loved it so much that I want to go again. The cast are true stars with such powerful voices and presence, they are meant for the stage! I was a bit worried because I usually like' big' musicals with lots of people and dancing but those 4 incredible performers are so captivating and talented, time flew away so fast and I enjoyed every minute of it. This show is funny, emotional and at its core - full of hope and love. 11/10, so worth seeing, buy your ticket now!

Had no idea what to expect with this, but WOW!!! The show itself is funny, relevant, relatable and poignant ... and what a cast! Hats off to these four incredible performers. Each was equally string vocally, beautiful strong voices, impeccable character acting, believable and sharp.
An absolute must see this year, and my favourite show by far.
Well done all of you!
Will be seeing this again before we leave!

GO SEE IT!!!

Our last day at the fringe and so glad we got to see this! Such a beautiful and witty show with by a super talented cast, all with brilliant timing and gorgeous voices. Would 100% recommend!

Ian Towers 107 days ago

This was totally professional, with beautifully crafted brand-new songs, performed by an incredibly versatile Cast who were blessed with wonderful voices. The harmonies were absolutely spot on, and the accompaniment by a single pianist was really something to behold. This is so well worth seeing, and you will be coming out singing the closing number! Wonderful stuff guys, keep up the great work, I loved it!

Not your average musical: it's a lot of little different stories that somehow stick together perfectly. The cast looks just beautiful, inside and out, I probably have never seen such a perfect musical representation of what it's like to date in 2024.

Joanne 109 days ago

I loved it, it was perfect, don't change. Some of the most beautiful songs of the shows I've seen (and I went to 10 this weekend :) )

High quality singing and delivery of lines - I was entertained for the whole show

Sami Hindmarsh 110 days ago

Absolutely amazing! I was in tears. I laughed. My friend and I sing these songs and you brought them to life to perfection! 'Shouldn't I Be Less in Love With You' was one of the most beautiful moments I've ever witnessed on stage. This song means so much to me and you did it such justice. The singing was perfect, the direction was impeccable and the show was glorious! Thank you thank you thank you xxxx

The traditional cast of four, each portraying a variety of characters, all excelled, as each is afforded some wonderful solo moments, whilst also playing off one another brilliantly.
