Description

ISH Comedy Award Best Newcomer longlist! What happens when a medical misdiagnosis results in a kidnapping, with a family secret revealed way too late, causing Sharon to think differently about past bad relationship decisions, attachment styles and dealing with rejection. It's a hilariously introspective look at family secrets, getting on with this thing called life and making the best choices with the hand you're dealt. It looks at universal threads that tie us together; the influence of family and upbringing, the human need for connection and belonging, and how they don't always work harmoniously together.

An absolutely 10/10 show! I can't believe it's not a full house every day. Excellent humour: check. Wholesome vibes: check. Brilliant audience interaction without people feeling awkward: check. So many funny stories that all come together brilliantly.

I've seen Sharon perform bits at the Stand and last few Fringes and she's always been funny, warm and engaging. I was keen to see what she'd come up with for a solo show. This show was all that, great laughs tied together with a twisty journey through her issues. Brilliant

A very funny stand-up which weaves a complex tale, thanks to the way that it is told by this enthusiastic woman of danger and needs.
