9/10 Stabbed A Gnome, been a great day.

The show is split into 2 comedy performances. The first following a Gnome and his day of high and lows; the second covering the break up of a couple after meeting both of the characters.

The gnome performance is highly interactive for 1 lucky (or unfortunate if you don’t want to get involved) member of audience, so stay away from the front row if you don’t want to become a character. This performance is great for international audiences because it doesn’t rely on speech to understand most plot points. Although it isn’t directly inappropriate for kids, If your a strict parent, I wouldn’t take kids bellow 6.

The second performance is between an obsessed boyfriend and a girl breaking up. Although it sounds serious, it’s not. The story has plenty of audience participation and the characters are memorable.

Overall, the stories aren’t consistent and can change with what the audience does to a degree (I got into a fight with a gnome and won after ruining his day). It’s great, memorable, bizarre fever dream- highly recommend if you have the time, loved it.

Loved this quirky show. A lot a creativity and genuine fun. Definitely worth a watching. Even got our son up in an improvised finger battle.
Plus a lovely little cafe just down from the royal mile.

A last minute drop in and well worth it. One of our highlights of the Fringe. Random in places (!) but that’s what it’s all about.

Absolutely adored this bizarre and brilliant show. There were two half-hour comedy acts. The first was about a gentle garden gnome who takes revenge on his owners after being stepped on one too many times. There was obviously a planned narrative, but the comedian also played with the audience’s reactions, making it feel like you were part of crafting the story. I was absolutely crying with laughter from start to finish. The second act showed the explosive romantic relationship between a hyper-masculine matador and a hyper-feminine manicurist. The comedian played both parts, taking great pride in sticking on her post-it note fake fingernails. My sides genuinely hurt from laughing.
It’s in a lovely wee venue just down from the Royal Mile, inside a coffee shop. And you can bring your latte into the venue!
