Description
Late at night at the corner store, your card got declined again. The fluorescent lights are blinking on and off. When you go for the door, it has disappeared. What happens when strangers are forced to connect? What if some of them are supposed to have passed on, but got stuck? A searingly honest commentary on the absurdity of existence, how we judge the strangers around us, and how much we need each other. An original devised show, incorporating principles of repetition and movement. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. It was a really great and surprising show. Nice movement and gave a certain vacuüm feeling. Sometimes a little bit confusing and surreal. The twilight zone! Go and see the show, it's worth ten times!

Seven talented actors filled the stage with depth, wit and energy in this thought provoking and engaging new piece of theatre. I loved the creativity of the set, sound and movement. I was completely engrossed in the warped world of the corner store and it was a delight to watch.

A strong, all-female cast leads us into limbo’s own convenience store. The characters’ journeys to accept their mortality and untimely deaths are littered with clues about just how they died. And the circumstances of their deaths invite the audience to reflect on social and political issues. The show uses music, movement, and lighting effects to effectively create both limbo and flashback scenes. If you’re looking for something experimental, thought-provoking, and fringe-y, look no further than this devised piece.

My only criticism for this show is that there wasn’t more of it! A hectic energetic and polished piece of real theatre that my fringe experience has been lacking. The cast make use of the space with excellence and fully committed individual performance. A lot to take in but I enjoyed how little was spoon fed and the trust in the audience to move the show.
If you want to see seven badass female actors perform an extremely unique play get yourselves a ticket pronto.
My favourite part involved a sex toy but I can’t spoil it just watch the damn show!

A beautiful and vulnerable performance with seven actors from all over the world about searching for connection and wandering souls in a corner store. You are taken into their imagination, and it’s vulnerable, touching and sometimes weird, but I loved that! You can feel the dedication and enthusiasm in the room. So go see it!
