Description

Vinney, a Comedian/DJ, uses a sampler to travel through time, raising the hairs on your neck. What stolen sample is used on 30,000 tracks (and why didn't anyone get paid for it)? How did electronic music start? What's a bone flute? Sound rude? You got a dirty mind ya filth bag. Laugh-out-loud fascinating stories and samples – all with a rush of rave nostalgia. 'Excellent, just excellent' (Fatboy Slim, Brighton Festival).

This was an insanely brilliant show! I loved every minute of it! I went with my dad who I have grown up with playing his electronic and house music on vinyl many a weekend. He loved it too, and together we found it both a hilarious and informative show. Sharp and well put together, Vinny has a fab stage presence and never misses a beat. Honestly if music is your thing then this is a must see show!

Loved this show. Vinney took us on a journey down memory lane, exposing the routes of underground dance scene classics, the innovations that birthed them, and the sound samples that just keep on giving. A funny and musically pleasing trip.

Must see at the Fringe - stands out from the crowded show space with its uniqueness of travelling through time with a sampler and loads of laughs. Vinney’s energy had the audience from the get go - funny, entertaining and original. If you’re a lover of music and laughs, this one’s for you!

Epic. Funny AND interesting? This guy woke me up to what's in the music I already loved. Effortless humour.
