A viscerally powerful solo performance, urgently relevant. Often understated, which makes the cries of anguish, outrage, etc all the more telling. A highly effective soundtrack too, of Arabic music and war sounds, which, chillingly, become mere background noise as one grows used to them. The end is devastating but not final. I'm left wondering what happens next.

Devastatingly brilliant! A truly thought provoking performance that painfully reflects the world we live in. Amena is utterly mesmerizing. A great congratulations to the whole Hagar team!

An absolutely beautiful and heartstring tugging piece. It really makes you think and it's so artfully told. A must see at fringe this year!
