Description

A comedy show starring comedian Toni Nagy and her 13-year old daughter Adelia Aldrich. Submerge into the shamanic journey of parenting, being parented and the process of building compassion for one’s parents by understanding them as humans. How do we find our own voice when the voices of our parents are so loud in our heads? The show provides an opportunity to embrace collective healing and will be expressed through the mediums of storytelling, sketch comedy, clowning and dance. Prepare for catharsis in this family-friendly acid trip you may later want to process with a therapist.

This generations “Gilmore Girls”! I cried! I laughed. So real and touching. Loved all the physical theater, stories of parenting, birth, reparenting our own inner children and connecting with generations. So fun to see such a talented mother and daughter duo! Can’t wait to see your TV show someday!

Totally loved this show. Not only funny and entertaining but really made me rethink my own childhood experiences! This is the real stuff! Highly recommend this show to anyone who wants to rethink motherhood.

Toni totally brings it…she speaks every woman’s story through her magical combination of madcap dance and straight talking. I expected to laugh - I didn’t expect the stomach punch that is her full force authenticity. Transformative, healing and very daughter inclusive.

I laughed, applauded and cried. This show delivered on its premise and then some! There was depth and power here mixed with hilarity and terrific writing. How rare and wonderful to see a mother and daughter perform together. I'm so glad I saw this show.

Go To Your Womb is a refreshing, funny performance. It talks about the challenges of motherhood – the desire to keep one’s daughter safe, while also trying to give them space to become their own person.
